Ariana Grande has achieved three Top 10 placings as a lead artist on the Billboard Hot 100 this week, with ‘Break Free’ at number four, ‘Problem’ at seven and ‘Bang Bang’ at 10.

Adele was the last female artist to achieve three Top 10 hits simultaneously on the Hot 100 back in March 2012, with ‘Set Fire To The Rain’ (No.2), ‘Rolling In The Deep’ (No.5) and ‘Someone Like You’ (No.7).
Iggy Azalea has also attained three Top 10 hits concurrently on the Hot 100. She is at number five as a lead artist on ‘Fancy’, at seven as a feature on ‘Problem’ and climbs to eight with Rita Ora on ‘Black Widow’.

Lady Gaga has nominated Adele from her Instagram for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Unless you are living under a rock, by now you would have heard that this viral sensation is a challenge which raises money for Lou Gehrig’s disease and the numbers are soaring for the charity! And it’s fun! 🙂

Gaga also tweeted out the same request, asking other rich folk to accept her challenge.

According to their website,  as of today, Monday, August 18, the ALS Association has received $15.6 million in donations compared to $1.8 million during the same time period last year (July 29 to August 18). These donations have come from existing donors and 307,598 new donors to The Association.
