Wearing a lime green gown and bringing her signature vocals, Aretha wowed the audience last night at the Ed Sullivan Theater<\/a>\u00a0with her rendition of Adele<\/a>‘s ‘Rolling In The Deep’ and received a standing ovation.<\/p>\n

And after, the Queen of Soul still had breath to stop and chat with Dave! The 72 year old \u00a0r & b songstress shows no sign of slowing down as her latest cd \u201cAretha Franklin Sings the Great Diva Classics\u201d is slated for release October 21, 2014 with a subsequent tour and she is even doing a biopic!<\/p>\n

For the show last night she brought in historic back-up singers, including \u00a0Cissy Houston, mother of the late Whitney Houston<\/a>. In addition, she called in her famous conductor H.B. Barnum and several famed musicians.<\/p>\n
