John Legend wants to duet with Adele.
The ‘All of Me’ hitmaker is a huge fan of the British songstress and thinks their voices would complement one another well on a record.
John tells Magic FM’s Jo Parkerson, “I would love to work with Adele. She’s one of my favorites and I think we would sound good together so that would be cool”.
John is also a big fan of the ”supremely talented” Sam Smith and though he hasn’t met him, they have been in contact.
”I love Sam. Before his album even came out in the States my agent actually sent me an email and said you’ve got to check out this guy Sam Smith. He put us in touch with each other. We actually haven’t met in person but we’ve emailed a few times and he’s supremely talented. It always makes me happy when good soulful music is doing so well, because it just shows that there’s hope”.
The 35-year-old singer believes Britain produces ”great artists” who have an appreciation of soul music and they can create ”beautiful” music.
Speaking of beautiful music, check out John in the video below!
John says,”Britain continues to produce great artists, particularly artists that I think appreciate soul music and appreciate how soul and pop can really be woven together in a really beautiful way”.
