Being an Adele Superfan, you hear many covers. I found the Corale San Marino Choir’s to be delightful for this holiday season!
Corale San Marino Choir is the oldest musical choir in the Republic of San Marino, which is tucked away inside the Italian peninsula. Director Fausto Giacomini leads the choir beautifully through this soulful composition during the 2013 Christmas Concert in the San Marino’s Parliament, Great and General Council Hall.
‘Someone Like You’ is the last track on Adele’s second studio album “21”, a Grammy award-winning ballad written by Adele and the talented singer/songwriter/collaborator Dan Wilson. http://www.danwilsonmusic.com/
Enjoy! 🙂
Adele will be honored with an MBE at Buckingham Palace this week for her services to the music industry. The MBE is one of the highest honors a British citizen can receive. The recent Oscar winner was named in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list for her services to the music industry.
Her new title will be Miss Adele Adkins MBE, which stands for Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.
Adele is now a worldwide superstar and won an Oscar in early 2013 for her collaboration with Paul Epworth for the James Bond theme “Skyfall” which has recently been nominated for a 2014 Grammy.
Singer-songwriter PJ Harvey, broadcaster Aled Jones and author Joanne Harris were also on the list to receive the prestigious MBE.
